 Lassi  is a popular traditional curd-based drink from the Jodhpur. Lassi is famous in all over India specially in north India. Lassi is a meld of curd, water, dry fruits and sometimes fruits and its flavors. Lassi is a savoury or zesty drink, and it is used as welcome drink in North India. Sweet lassi, however, contains sugar or fruits, instead of spices. Salted mint lassi is highly favoured in Bangladesh. Mishrilal's Makhniya Lassi is famous for its taste and its service. This shop is located in clock tower(Ghanta ghar) area.
In India, yogurt sweetened with honey is used while performing religious rituals. Less common is lassi served with milk and topped with a thin layer of devonshire cream. Lassis are enjoyed chilled as a hot-weather refreshment, mostly taken with lunch. Salted lassi is also famous in Jodhpur, made up of curd and water .In salted lassi, mixture of spices also add to make it more tasty. It is also sold at most dairy shops selling curd and milk, and both the salty and sweet variety are available. Chaach or salted lassi is popular in India where it is a common beverage during or after mealtime.
