Jodhpur is home of many delicious dishes like Makhniya lassi, pyaz ki kachori, mirchi bada, samosa, gulab jamun, and Rajasthan special dal bati churma. These all are dishes show the food culture of Jodhpur. Here are some must try food of Jodhpur.

Makhniya lassi: Butter milk or Makhniya lassi is a must try item. Normally Jodhpuri people drink this after taking food. Makhniya lassi is made up of milk, curd and butter with dry fruits. It has added flavours of saffron  and cardamom. Most of the restaurants and sweet shops serve butter milk.


Mirchi Bada: Mirchi Bada is a hot and spicy dish of Jodhpur. No one can make Mirchi bada better than Jodhpuri chef. It is made up of chilly and potato spice. It is breakfast, once people taste it, they will never forget its delicious and spicy taste.


Mava kachori: It is saffron falvoured mava sweet. Jodhpur is home of this sweet. It is deep fried, khoya stuffed cuisine serverd hot covered with sugar syrup.


Dal bati churma: Dal bati churma is food sign of Rajasthan. It doesn't matter where   you go in Rajasthan, you will find this food everywhere in Rajasthan. Bati, the round balls are prepared out of cracking flaky dough and then roasted over the traditional style chulha. These batis are the dipped in desi ghee and served with dal made using 5  different pulses. The desi ghee churma served with dal bati makes it an even more mouthwatering combination that you would not like to miss.


Gulab jamun: Gulab jamun considers as a king of sweets in India. It is very delicious and dry fruit sweet, available everywhere in India. Specially in Jodhpur, this sweet is in trend.Pungalpada's Chaturbhuj gulab jamuns are hot favourite of all Jodhpuris.


Other: Shahi samosa, lassan ki chutney, ker sangriya ki sabji, lal mass(Rajasthani seasoning) are also famous in Jodhpur.
